He will take part remotely
Moscow has confirmed Vladimir Putin will not be attending the COP26 conference in Glasgow, Scotland later this month.
It's a blow to hopes of an international breakthrough on climate change with Russia, being the world's 4th biggest emitter of greenhouse gases.
A spokesman for the Kremlin says the Russian President will take part remotely instead.
It is also unclear if the leaders from China and India will attend.
