The US has apparently carried out an airstrike in Afghanistan's capital - with the Taliban claiming American forces hit a suicide bomber in a vehicle.
The Reuters news agency claims a rocket hit suspected ISIS-K militants, who wanted to strike Kabul airport.
Separately, an explosion was reported in a nearby neighbourhood, with local police saying a child was killed.
Earlier this week, a suicide bomber targeted the airport killing dozens of people.
