Geronimo's owner claims tests for bovine TD were flawed
In the UK, Geronimo the alpaca has been put down after testing positive for bovine TB.
Earlier today he was taken from a Gloucestershire farm by government vets.
Police provided an escort for the team in overalls, masks and goggles as Geronimo was loaded onto a trailer.
The animal's case had been controversial.
His owner, Helen Macdonald, claims the test for the disease were flawed.
Before hearing news of his destruction, Ms. Macdonald was furious that he was seized:
Earlier in August, Downing Street refused to U-turn on the British Government's decision to euthanise the alpaca.
More than 140,000 people had signed a petition to save Geronimo.
The British Prime Minister's father, Stanley Johnson, joined the campaign to save the alpaca.
The former MP previously urged his son to overturn the decision, his article can be read here.
