Travel restrictions have been in place since the pandemic was declared
The US is lifting restrictions on vaccinated foreign travellers from November 8th.
Most people have been essentially banned from travelling to America, under curbs on non-essential travel introduced at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Assistant White House Press Secretary, Kevin Munoz, says the policy is guided by public health, stringent and consistent.
The White House says people will be allowed to enter by land and air, with a valid vaccination pass.
