It comes as those living on the road are experiencing huge issues in entering and exiting their estates
There are calls for improvement to traffic calming measures on the Sallins-Naas road.
It comes as those living on the road are experiencing huge issues in entering and exiting their estates near Naas GAA club.
Councillors have been calling for a yellow box to be installed, as well as requests for a traffic assessment of the road.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Fianna Fáil Councillor for Naas MD Carmel Kelly says people have been raising concerns about it for years:
"There isn't one Councillor in the Naas area, probably in the last 10 years, who hasn't put forward a motion on these two estates, asking for a yellow box."
"We've been shot down every time."
She also asked if a calibration had been added, while also saying that she will request a traffic assessment of the road.
According to Cllr Kelly, the council haven't gone ahead with a yellow box due to it not meeting the "numbers criteria" to warrant action on the road.
