11 motorists have been detected speeding in a Kildare Garda operation.

It was mounted on the N7 in the county yesterday evening..

Gardai say all vehicles detected were "travelling at speeds significantly over the legal limit.", which is 100 kp/h.

Fines and penalty points have been issued to all drivers detected speeding.
