12th Lock To Hazelhatch Greenway Has Officially Opened

The five kilometre stretch begins at the 12th lock in Clondalkin and continues to Hazelhatch

A new section of the Grand Canal Greenway has opened.

The five kilometre stretch begins at the 12th lock in Clondalkin and continues to Hazelhatch.

South Dublin County Council says the project will support upcoming development in the area, including at Clonburris.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland welcomes the opening of the short stretch of what will become a 130km greenway from Dublin to the river Shannon.
