Naas has been crowned Kildare’s tidiest town at this year’s Tidy Towns awards.
Kill was second and Maynooth third.
All three towns get gold medals, while gold medals have also been awarded to Leixlip, Celbridge, Newbridge and Straffan.
Clane, Rathangan and Ballymore Eustace all picked up silver medals, while Kilcullen and Broadford received bronze medals.
The ‘Endeavour Award’ went to Prosperous.
In our neighbouring counties, Lucan, Blessington and Enfield received bronze medals.
