A group are preparing for deployment to Southern Lebanon
The Defence Forces is advising the public a convoy of armoured vehicles will travel from Cork to the Curragh in Kildare today as part of UNIFIL training.
It says the 128th Infantry Battalion is preparing for its deployment to Southern Lebanon next month.
Mission readiness exercises like these have been described as crucial to train and prepare members for the challenges they'll face during their work.
