According to the INMO's Trolley Watch Figures, 394 admitted patients were waiting for beds across the Irish hospital system.
293 people were waiting in hospital emergency departments, while 101 were in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.
Tallaght University Hospital was one of the worst hit in the country, with 24 patients were waiting for beds.
24 people were also waiting for beds at University College Hospital, Galway.
In the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, 21 people were awaiting beds at 8am.
