It comes as 369 men's sheds receive funding to support their running costs
15 men's sheds in Kildare were among over 350 who received funding from Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht.
Funding has been paid in full to all 369 sheds in the last number of months.
The grants are hoped to support running costs for the sheds.
In Kildare, Athy, Clane, Confey and Kilcock all received the maximum amount of €3,000.
Other recipients included Celbridge (€1,704.15), Johnstown Bridge Community (€2,714.57), Kildare Town (€465.77), Kill and District(€2,732.75), Leixlip (€1,780.54), Maynooth (€2,196.65), Monasterevin (€1,273.07), Na Fianna (€2,935.15) , Naas Community (€2,503.88), Newbridge (€450) and Sallins (€546.95).
The funding was distributed by the Irish Men’s Sheds Association (IMSA).
