New M7 development will include Ireland's first Popeyes Drive-Thru, ultra-fast EV charging and several food outlets.
A new €15 million Applegreen service area in Naas is set to create 150 jobs when it opens later this year.
The development will be located at Junction 9 on the M7, beside the Naas Ball, and forms part of Applegreen's wider investment programme in Ireland.
The site will feature an Applegreen forecourt and convenience store, M&S Food, Crafted Kitchen & Deli, along with Popeyes and Taco Bell restaurants. The Popeyes outlet will be the first Drive-Thru restaurant operated by the brand in the Republic of Ireland.
An additional drive-thru restaurant is also due to open at the site later this winter.
The development will include eight ultra-fast EV chargers providing 16 charging points, a dedicated HGV fuelling area and a car wash.
Applegreen says recruitment for the 150 new jobs is already underway.
Managing Director of Applegreen's Republic of Ireland business, Seamus Stapleton, said the company aims to provide "high-quality" roadside facilities while continuing to invest in its Irish network.
The Naas development is Applegreen's second major roadside service area to open in Ireland within the past year, following the opening of its €15 million site at Junction 6 on the M3 in Dunshaughlin last September.
