Two drivers have been arrested following Naas Roads Policing Unit operations.
Naas RPU, during a checkpoint in the North of the county, detained a driver who failed a roadside breathtest.

Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting checkpoints in North Kildare this Sunday when they stopped this motorist. They proceeded to fail a roadside Breath Test and were arrested.

And, in a separate operation, Naas Roads Policing Unit observed van being driven erratically.
It transpired that the motorist had no licence or insurance & was arrested after failing roadside test for alcohol.
The breath sample taken at the station was 4 times over legal limit.
The vehicle has been impounded and court proceedings commenced.
