21 Ukrainian refugees are to be accommodated in a building on the Main Street in Naas.
The building, located beside the now closed Five Lamps and Forge Inn, is to begin taking refugees in the near future.
It's understood that Kildare County Council is involved with the project and the premises has been leased by the Council for a period of two years.
So far, over 96,000 people fleeing war in Ukraine have come to Ireland, since Russia's invasion in February 2022.
