Applications for 25 new affordable homes at Barracksfield West in Naas will open later this month, with prices starting from over €243,000.
A further 25 affordable homes are being made available at the Barracksfield West development in Naas.
The latest phase includes seven three-bedroom houses, seven two-bedroom duplexes and 11 one-bedroom apartments, all of which are A-rated.
Prices under the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme will start at €243,477 for a one-bed apartment, €292,933 for a two-bed duplex and €365,216 for a three-bed house.
Kildare County Council will retain an equity share in properties purchased through the scheme.
Applications open online at 10am on Tuesday, August 25th, and will remain open until noon on September 15th.
Barracksfield West, located on the former Devoy Barracks site off John Devoy Road, is being developed by Kildare County Council and the Land Development Agency and is expected to contain 219 homes when completed.
