28 Vehicles Seized By Kildare Gardaí Within A Week

A further 10 people were also arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs

Kildare gardaí have seized 28 vehicles over a one-week period.

All vehicles were seized under no insurance, no tax, disqualified driver, and unaccompanied learner.

A further 10 people were also arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Recently, Kildare gardaí have acquired a new unmarked VW Golf GTI that aims to catch speeding motorists.

Last Sunday, Naas Roads Policing Unit conducted speed checks in Kilcock, Rathcoffey, Kill and Prosperous with the unmarked vehicle.

14 Fixed Charge Notices were subsequently issued, each carrying a fine of €160 and 3 penalty points.
