Gardai in Newbridge have seized four vehicles.
The operation was mounted by Naas Roads Policing Unit.
The RPU says two vehicles were impounded from unaccompanied learner drivers, one of whom "attempted to give false details".
Another 2 were seized for lacking insurance.

In a separate operation, Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped three vehicles for having excessively tinted windows:
