Over 70 social housing homes are proposed for a site on the Fortbarrington Road in Athy.
The proposed development would be made up of 54 houses - 50 of those 2-storey, 4 bungalows.
4 of the homes will be 1-bed, twenty-four 2-beds, twenty 3-beds & six will be 4-beds.
18 triplex (3-storey) apartments are proposed, all 1-bed, alongside one 2 bed duplex apartment.
Commenting on the proposal Labour councillor for the Athy Municipal District, Aoife Breslin, noted all the apartments will have their own hall door, with no shared entrances.
