A Driver Has Been Detained In Kildare After Failing A Roadside Drugs Test.

The operation took place on the N7.

A motorist in Kildare has been arrested, after testing positive for 2 drugs.

Naas Roads Policing Unit "observed a car being driven in an erratic manner on the N7 recently."

The motorist was pulled over and a drugs tests was administer.

Positive indications for cannabis and cocaine were returned.

The driver was detained.
