A Kildare based candidate in the Dublin Bay South by-election has been involved in an incident with Gardai at the count centre this morning.
Counting of ballots cast began at 9am this morning, and Covid 19 measures are in place in the building.
Dolores Cahill, who lives in Athy, is one of 15 candidates contesting the ballot.
She tried to access the count centre whilst not wearing a mask:
