The funds support various physical activities, such as chair yoga, Tai Chi, table tennis, and walking hockey.
Nationally, the funding aims to support physical activities and sports run by 1,167 different groups and organisations.
These include active retirement groups, Irish Countrywomen's Association, men’s/women’s sheds, Physical Activity Leaders (PALs), care settings, and other sports and social groups.
