It is holding a discussion webinar on Monday.
An increasing number of cases involving parental alienation are coming before Ireland's family courts.
This occurs where one parent manipulates their child or children in to a rejection of their other parent, with the intent of ending the child-parent relationship.
Commonly, but not exclusively it occurs during parental separation.
Campaigners contend that, in many instances, parental alienation is a continuation of domestic abuse, and can also be viewed as child abuse.
Alienated parents may also be denied access to their child or children.
Alienated Children First wants Government to recognise parental alienation as a genuine issue. The organisation is holding a webinar on solutions for parental alienation on Monday, with Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioural Sciences Dr. William Bernett.
