Supply is expected to return at 9pm tonight (Tuesday May 12th)
Uisce Éireann is advising customers supplied by the Allen Reservoir that low levels may impact water supplies to customers until this evening (Tuesday May 12th).
Areas impacted will include Coill Dubh, Prosperous, Derrinturn, Kilmeage, Robertstown, Allenwood and surrounding areas.
Extremely high demand on the network has led to water levels in the Allen Reservoir falling to critically low levels over the last week.
Alternative Water Supply (AWS) has been provided at the following locations from approximately 7am this morning until 9pm tonight:
- Prosperous National School, Curryhill, Naas (parking bays along front of school)
- Aylmere Court, Kilmeage (near the Old Dispensary)
- R403 Allenwood, (parking bays adjacent to 120 / 120X Bus Stop)
- Former Grand Canal Hotel, Robertstown, (large gravelled area to the east of the hotel)
- St Conleth’s National School, Derrinturn, (parking bays along front of school)
- The Village Arch Café, Coill Dubh, (close to the archway)
