Gardaí have seized almost €10,000 worth of drugs in the last week following various searches in south Kildare.
Garda Sarah O'Sullivan spoke as part of Kildare Today's Crimewatch slot and outlined the various seizures that took place
In Kildare Town, approximately €4,050 worth of cannabis and €520 worth of cocaine was seized during a search of a home.
Also in Kildare Town in a separate search of a home, €3,000 worth of cannabis was seized.
In Athy, €2,240 worth of cocaine was found after searching a male acting suspiciously in the area.
Arrests for sale and supply under Section 15 Misuse of Drugs Act 77 were made in these cases.
