The incident occurred on Sunday night/Monday morning
The chairman of Valleymount GAA club on the Kildare-Wicklow border is appealing for information after the clubhouse was broken into and ransacked.
It's understood that the incident occurred late on Sunday night, into the early hours of Monday morning.
Forcible entry was gained via a side entrance of the clubhouse, before the perpetrators went through a number of drawers and presses in the kitchen area and referee's room.
The small coffee hut at the front of the clubhouse was also broken into, but it's understood nothing was taken.
Gardai in Blessington are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
Speaking to Kfm, Chairman of Valleymount GAA Michael Nolan, also called for anyone with information to bring it to An Garda Siochana saying the incident is "disheartening for all the volunteers that give up their time and effort to make the club what it is."
