The apartments are located at Harpur Lane
The Land Development Agency is to open applications for 52 cost-rental apartments in Leixlip from next Monday.
The apartments are being made available on Harpur Lane in Leixlip, ranging from €1,357 a month for a one-bed to €1,585 for a two-bed apartment.
The cost-rental model, which is open to those who do not qualify for social housing, offers rents that are at least 25% below market rates.
It will be the first scheme in Kildare under Project Tosaigh, a Government plan to deliver more than 5,000 cost-rental properties by 2026.
Applicants for the homes must have a net household income of below €59,000.
Applicants must be in a position to repay the rent, cannot already own a property or be in receipt of any social-housing supports.
Applications for the Leixlip properties will open next Monday, January 15th and will run for a week.
