Applications have opened for 50 Cost Rental homes in Newbridge.
The new development at Belin Woods, delivered by Tuath Housing in partnership with Kildare County Council under the Government’s Cost Rental Equity (CREL) Scheme, will see rent starting at €1,130 for a 2-bedroom home and €1,300 for a 3-bed home.
The application process is live on www.tuathousing.ie and will close after 1 week on Monday 29th August.
Applicants can find out information on the eligibility criteria and how to apply.
The 50 Cost Rental homes are expected to delivered on a phased basis between October and December 2022, and will offer prices 40% below the average local area rent.
It is aimed at workers who earn too much to qualify for social housing but cannot afford to buy or rent on the open market.
Tuath Communications & Policy Manager Fiona Egan told Kildare Focus that tenants can also avail of long term leases.
