Christy Ring Cup winners 2024; Joe McDonagh Cup winners 2025
Brian Dowling will continue as manager of the Kildare senior hurlers in 2026.
The former Kilkenny player has already achieved back-to-back championship triumphs with the Lilywhites, winning the Christy Ring Cup in 2024 and the Joe McDonagh Cup this summer.
The latter success secured qualification for next year’s Leinster SHC.
However, he has now confirmed to the Irish Independent that he will be on board next season, when Kildare compete in Allianz League Division 1B as well as in the Leinster Championship.
He told the Independent.ie: "There is a huge amount of learnings and a huge amount of work that has to happen between now and next year's Leinster hurling championship, but we knew that before [the Dublin game].
