Pure Telecom Ireland said a Siro outage affecting many broadband customers across several operators in Kildare should be resolved by lunchtime today.
They said engineers are working on since 11.30am yesterday morning and are working with a third party to resolve the issue.
A spokesperson for Sky said: "There is a SIRO network outage and it is affecting some of our broadband customers in Kildare. We don’t have definitive timelines just yet, but we are working with SIRO to resolve the issue as a matter of urgency. I’ll follow up as soon as we know more."
