A water main has burst in Blakestown, on the R148 Maynooth Road outside Leixlip.
This may impact supply to customers in Leixlip, Maynooth, Celbridge and surrounding areas.
Uisce Éireann are responding to the burst this morning and are expected to continue until 5pm this afternoon.
Typically, it takes three to four hours following repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.
