Labour and Kildare South TD Mark Wall had asked if the new Dublin Transport Authority Amendment Bill 2026 would cover from Junction 7 Maynooth to Junction 5 Leixlip.
Deputy Wall also reminded the Minster that the NTA were considering a similar project on the N7 to alleviate the traffic congestion there, as well as calls for improved train services in Athy.
