Locals in Kilgowan have called for the area to be better served by public transport.
Recently, TFI Local Link announced an enhanced bus service from Naas to Carlow calling at Castledermot, Moone, Timolin, Ballitore, Carrig Glen, Ballyshannon, Kilcullen, Two Mile House, and Killashee.
The 880 service does not however go through Kilgowan.
Local resident, John O'Brien says the area has been poorly impacted since public transport ceased in the locality.
