The route is popular but is often full before it gets to Clane, according to a local Councillor
Calls have been made for the an improvement to the service of the 139 bus service between Naas and Blanchardstown.
Councillor Pádraig McEvoy asked the council to confirm if it has been consulted on the review of the 139 bus service between Naas and Blanchardstown.
The Independent Councillor made the request given that people are seeking improvements to the hours of operation, the frequency and the capacity of the service and possible linkages with the requirements of other public transport users.
Speaking to Kfm: " Quite a number of people in the Clane, Rathcoffey and Maynooth area are looking to get to Naas early.
"They would desire to be in Naas before 8 in the morning, but the service isn't available to do it," he added.
Clane - Maynooth MD, Cllr McEvoy spoke with Eoin Beatty on Tuesday's Kildare Today:
