More than 80 officers searched fifteen sites.
The Criminal Assets Bureau has seized five luxury cars and 15,000 euro in cash in a multi-county operation.
More than 80 officers were involved in searching fifteen sites across Kildare, Laois, Dublin and Waterford.
The Criminal Assets Bureau has seized one Tesla car, two 2021-registered BMW electric cars, two classic cars, a number of high end watches and cash.
CAB officers, armed Gardaí, the stolen car unit, dog unit and detectives from Kildare, Portlaoise and Dublin were involved today.
The operation was set up to target an eastern European gang suspected of laundering money through used car sales.
It's also suspected of supplying cars to other gangs up and down the country.
Today's action is a follow up from others last September and October in which the Bureau seized 18 luxury cars.
