Celbridge Nursing Home Found Non-Compliant After No Resident Directory Was Provided During Inspection

The report details that a directory was "repeatedly requested on the day of inspection"

A Celbridge nursing home has been found non-compliant after not providing a directory of residents during a recent inspection.

It follows an inspection of Elm Hall Nursing Home, on Loughlinstown Road in the town.

According to HIQA, the directory was not available in paper or electronic format after it was "repeatedly requested
on the day of inspection".

The report says that this was the case even though the provider assured the inspector that all the information required under
Schedule 3 of the regulations was available within the centre.

The nursing home has reviewed the findings of the inspection and has implemented measures to ensure that the Directory of Residents can be promptly made available to inspectors upon request.

In addition, weekly management audits of the Directory of Residents will be undertaken to ensure that all information required under Schedule 3 of the regulations is accurate, complete, up to date, and readily accessible at all times
