Copies of Superhero Adventures will be available across Kildare libraries, while the book will also be distributed to primary schools in the Celbridge area.
A group of students from St Raphael's Special School in Celbridge have helped create a new book celebrating imagination, creativity and inclusion.
Superhero Adventures was produced through the Great Read Ventures Book Club, a partnership involving Kildare County Council's Library Service and St Raphael's Special School.
The book features artwork and short superhero stories created by six students, Shane Tipper, Jack Duff, Grigore Rotaru, Tami Mundi, Chloe Cagney, and Evan Gardiner, with support from local author Emma-Jane Leeson and illustrator Alan Nolan.

The project was funded through Creative Ireland and grew out of an inclusive book club established after Down Syndrome Ireland approached Celbridge Library last year.
The club has been meeting since December 2025, giving teenagers an opportunity to take part in reading, games, art, and other activities.
