Notices were found on roundabouts and "dangerous corners" by a local councillor
Claims have been made that planning permission notices are being placed in "precarious" areas in Maynooth.
Social Democrats Councillor for Clane-Maynooth Peter Melrose posted pictures on social media and sent them to KCC of areas where he deemed planning permission notices were in unsuitable places.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Cllr Melrose said that he found notices placed at "roundabouts, on dangerous corners where there's no pedestrian access and in places that pedestrians would never be".
"Maybe I'm being a bit cynical here, but maybe they're being put in these areas so these people can't access them and can't make submissions."
He added that the "planning application process is a democratic process" and that it "is being left by the wayside" as a result of the positioning of these planning notices.
According to Cllr Melrose, Kildare County Council have already begun to contact developers in relation to the notices and their positioning.
