Clane Law Student Isobella Perrie Sullivan Granted Bail

Bail set at €15000

Clane resident Isobella Perrie Sullivan, who is charged in connection with the discovery of a bomb in a car in Monaghan last week, is allowed bail.

Her case was heard before Cavan District Court again today.

Judge Raymond Finnegan approved a €15,000 independent surety for the 25-year-old.

The court heard that the surety was provided by an individual in Claremorris, Co Mayo, and that their bank details had been furnished to the court.

During the brief hearing, Gardaí asked for an amendment to Ms Perrie Sullivan's bail conditions, to include a condition that she not make any contact, directly or indirectly with the co-accused in this case, or associates of that person.

Judge Finnegan said that the bail request was covered by the bail conditions set out at her initial appearance last Friday.

She is due to appear again before Monaghan District Court on August 7th.
