The Council confirmed this at the recent MD meeting
Kildare County Council has said that priority works for cemeteries in the Clane-Maynooth MD this year include major drainage and resurfacing works at Boycetown in Kilcock and accessibility works at Mainham Cemetery in Clane.
The Council is also to organise an inspection of the paths at Broadford Cemetery, on foot of calls by Fianna Fail Cllr. Daragh Fitzpatrick.
Cllr. Fitzpatrick said the paths and driveways at this location need to be upgraded as a matter of urgency.
In response, the Council said an inspection will be carried out but it's dependent on funding and Boycetown and Mainham cemeteries are the priority projects for 2024.
