Close to 200 protesters descended on Flood's Cross in Newhall, just outside Naas, yesterday afternoon.
The march was organised in opposition to accommodation being built in order to house Ukrainian refugees.
When complete, the site will have capacity to house approximately 950 refugees in cabin-style accommodation under large marquees on the site.
According to sources, further protests are being planned at the site over the next few weeks.
