The community came together, with Truly Bridal in Naas combing their CCTV to help the owner track down the customer.
They managed to get the car reg and, with the help of local Gardai, they were able to track down the ring.
Anne, the owner of Fleming Flowers in Naas, had reached out to the community via Kfm for help in locating her engagement ring.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon while she was arranging a bouquet.
CCTV footage showed her engagement ring slipping off her finger and falling into a box of flowers, which was purchased by a man for his parents' 27th wedding anniversary.
It's since been reunited with Anne, bringing a happy ending to the situation.
