Construction work has begun on converting Naas Town Hall in to a library and cultural space.
Kildare County Council awarded the multi-million euro contract to Duggan Lynch Ltd. at the end of February,
It includes conversion of the existing building and its site, which has a total footprint of 1,015m2.
The building will include a new library & meeting rooms, exhibition area, gallery,and landscaped courtyard..
KCC says "The new library will be a space to connect, learn, explore & to enjoy The construction phase of the project is now underway."
