The Municipal District Office said they were not aware of any speeding issues on the road
Kildare County Council have said that they will carry out a speed survey on Lord's Road in Celbridge.
It comes as Fine Gael Councillor for Leixlip-Celbridge MD Declan Ryan raised a motion to the council at a recent meeting.
Cllr Ryan had asked for "appropriate traffic calming and safety measures to protect pedestrians, cyclists and all road users" in light of "speeding conerns on the road".
In response, the Municipal District Office said that they were not aware of any speeding issue on the Lord’s Road.
The concluded by saying that a speed survey will be carried out to "determine if there is an issue" on the road.
