He made the announcement this morning
Kildare-Newbridge councillor Rob Power has announced his intention to be a candidate for Fianna Fáil in the next General Election in Kildare North.
Cllr Power has previously ran as both the Mayor of Naas and Newbridge districts, and has been Deputy Mayor to the county.
He says "As a father, husband, PAYE worker and a councillor in Kildare for the last ten years I know and understand the challenges facing this county. I have the energy, enthusiasm and compassion to do the job".
