Additional safety measures such as raised entry treatments and Safe Routes to School markings will also be implemented.
Work will begin on the Craddockstown Road Active Travel Scheme on Monday, February 24th.
The project aims to enhance pedestrian and cyclist safety along Craddockstown Road, from the Ballycane Road Junction to local schools.
Key improvements include a 2.5m-wide bidirectional cycleway, upgraded footpaths, a new shared pedestrian and cyclist path, and a signalised toucan crossing.
