Outdoors, the workload was heavy - with two hundred and thirty-seven rubbish fires, seventy-five grass and bog fires, and one hundred and twelve vehicle fires.
25 people died in fires last year across Ireland, while almost 20 thousand incidents were attended across various locations, according to fire brigade data.
Chimneys remain a top cause of fire in homes.
Flues, hot ashes and soot were also among the top causes, while malicious intent and rubbish burning featured highly.
