Kildare Gardai arrested a driver this morning during a mandatory intoxicants checkpoint.
It was mounted by Naas Roads Policing Unit in Prosperous.
The motorist failed a roadside breath test, was taken to Garda Station & also failed subsequent breath test.
Gardai say proceedings have commenced.

In a separate Naas RPU operation, in Sallins, a vehicle was seized.
Gardai say the van had not been taxed for 2 years.
The driver has been hit with fines and penalty points.
