A driver in Kildare has been arrested, after failing a roadside drugs test.
The driver, who was an unaccompanied learner, was stopped at a checkpoint and subsequently tested positive for cocaine.
The driver has been detained, the car impounded and proceedings commenced.

Elsewhere, a motorist in Clane has been hit with a €150 fine.
