In total, €177,000 was allocated to Kildare County Council to facilitate creation of outdoor public spaces.
The Naas sum has been spent on picnic tables, benches and landscaping for Poplar Squar
Fine Gael Cllr., Evie Sammon, raised the matter at the Naas Municipal District meeting.
She says at least one more project is planned in the town.
