Kildare County Council spent €7.6 million maintaining its stock of social homes last year.
The council has 4,816 homes, in all.
It says that, during 2020, in received 6,942 maintenance requests, of which over 6,700 were completed.
KCC turned around 96 homes between tenants in 2020, and completed up-grades to 108 newly acquired homes.
9 empty homes were also refurbished and re-let.
80 tenants were awarded self-help grants to enable them to conduct works on their homes.
